  INRI WIDOWS FOUNDATION SCORECARD  
The intervention activities of the IWF are in such core areas as: Education, Healthcare Delivery, Shelter, Empowerment, Vocational Training and Distribution of Welfare/Relief Packages.

Since inception we have lived up to expectations. Thus the IWF was able to reach out to its beneficiaries as detailed below.

Education: Over 3000 Children have benefited in terms of payment of school fees, school books, clothing, Welfare Packages and Feeding allowances.

Healthcare: 500 members of the IWF Forum have enjoyed our Healthcare Delivery Packages.

Accommodation: Over 3500 members of the Forum have received assistance in terms of solving accommodation problems.

Empowerment: From our various empowerment schemes, over 1000 members have benefited.

Home Based Care: 75 Aged widows are enjoying our Home Based Care Services designed particularly for the HIV Positive ones.

Welfare / Relief Packages: Some 6000 widows, widows children, orphans and the Vulnerable children both Christians and Muslims alike have, at various times received our Welfare / Relief items which include clothing materials, Raw food stuffs, shoes and other consumable items.

Special Intervention: The Children received Special Assistance from the IWF towards their Educational Development. 30 Children were assisted to collect the General Certificate of Education (GCE Forms) another 40 Children were assisted during the processing of their Common Entrance Examination Papers. In all 20 Orphans benefited from this Special Scheme.

HIV Positive ones: Since inception, 40 HIV Positive persons within the IWF Forum have been receiving N5000 monthly allowances, a bag of Rice, and another N1000 = cash of subsidy for the monthly Anti Retroviral Drugs (ARD).

Vocational Training: Various Training programmes were organized for the widows and their children namely Beads making, electrician, Popcorn making and Fashion designing, Mechanic, Soap Making, Interior Decorations. In all over 1500 have benefited from these programme since inception and working tools provided.

Orphans and Vulnerable Children: Over 300 Orphans and Vulnerable Children are enjoying our special packages for this category of children.

Special Micro Credit Scheme: As part of its Empowerment Scheme, 30 HIV Positive Widows were given N30,000 each for the purpose of boosting existing petty trading or setting up Small Scale Businesses. The loan is interest-free. The presentation was carried out on the 26th of May 2006.
